i wouldn't have known this was a cover, never heard of Kieth Rodarte  has quite a dark feel to it... sounds pretty decent

 What a cool song this is. I also don't know the orig but I'm diggin this one. Great lyrix and delivery of 'em. The slow groove is totally working too.

Hell yeah. Kieth is one of the best talents here at Dmusic and I really love what you have achieved together here. When your vocals go to the higher register it really helps bring out the emotional content of the lyrics. Great performance

Excellent intrumentation, production, and great vocals. I felt the vibe, yes a dark feel to it. Excellent Job. Of course I never heard the original either. But I definately dig this one.

Wow, GREAT vocals, perfect levels, perfect singing, emotion, I really love your voice in this song And the lyrics were a good pick, how I have felt for months  "Love is a lot like dying..." damn, love that line, and how you deliver it yeah I am definitely diggin' this...and when your voice gets higher, really shows off your vocal talent......damn. The echo and reverb in your vocals is just perfect all the way through as well  Great song!

had to go listen to the original before hearing this, just for reference  and fucking hell was i impressed. an amazing song indeed, and a great pick for a "karaoke" song! Bill did a great job on mixing ion your vox too, never would have guessed it wasn't all produced together, at the same time. your voice brings a very dark and creepy vibe to this.. it was all ready dark and creepy before, but now in a whole new way. easily my favourite part is the one that starts with "Everytime I kill myself..." imo the best part of the song anyway, but you really hit that part. great, great job on that part.. well, overall really, but especially there.  and then going right back to an almost "spoken word" voice right afterwards was a masterful touch. sealed the whole thing off well.

What can I say that hasn't already been said about this rendition? I must begin with THANK YOU  It means a great deal to me when a person picks up on something I've done. All I ever wanted was to be listened to...But, you paid me the ultimate compliment by covering this song. You have made it your own. I've listened to your version & my version, back to back - your's is darker in tone. Your vocal presentation is incredible! I love how your voice sets the mood. I mean, the music is pretty creepy, but your voice adds an even darker shade to the picture. I really like it when you kick into high gear with "Everytime I kill myself..." & yes, the spoken part at the end...I wish I would have done that!!! This has inspired me! Keep it comin'!

Oh man this is pretty darn awesome!!! I love the darkness of the Kieth Rodarte lyrics. I guess I'm going to have to check out this guys work after listening to this eh! Excellent songwriting.
Your singing on this is just so amazing Crystal. Full of such honest emotion. I can feel the bleeding.
Bill if you mixed this you have done an awesome job. Everything sounds bloody great.

Excellent music - very dark, yet tantalizingly melodic - great lyrics and top class arrangement (I like the changes and the song structure). I love your voice - rich, deep and sensual, conveying a lot of emotion. Very atmospheric delivery both in the music and the vocals - fantastic job!

Cool dark plodding guitar riff.

very dark & hypnotic (must be the tremelo guitar), i really like the drums in this, its obvious a lot of work went into sequencing this........cool tune!

wow...great song indeed. its dark atmosphere really dragged me inside...i could even feel the pain in the heart of the person in the lyrics while listening. guitars and vocals and everything fit great. lyrics are well-written, too. everythings great, congratz
