 I mainly consider myself a writer. I have been writing poetry since I was a teenager. I started this mainly as a therapeutic technique and, though I still find it therapeutic, my skill with pen and paper has developed over the years and I now feel comfortable sharing my thoughts and words with others.
Having long desired to be a musician, but with little or no encouragement to do so, I never developed myself musically. Upon reconnecting with Bill (guitar player/producer extraordinaire) after a 20 year hiatus, I am now not only encouraged, but assisted in my absolute desire to arrange some of my verbal pieces into song.
I hope the results create some type of feeling within the listener. What that feeling is matters less to me than the intensity of said feeling. If my words cause a strong reaction of any sort, then I am satisfied that they, and I, served a purpose.
Ocassionally on this page you will also find musical collaborations with one or more of my three children...all of whom are very gifted! Not only is Bill a wonderful musician and producer, but a wonderful step-parent as well.
